This article explains the Tamir Rice’s death, a twelve years old boy. He was shot dead by an officer because he was playing with a gun in a playground. The police were alerted by a caller who specified that it was probably a fake weapon. On the one hand, it is a serious error that the officers was not warn of this possibility. On the other hand, the police forces did not try to converse with the child before to shooting him. If they tried to understand, maybe he would not be dead today. Personally i am against this kind of toys. I think that the weapons can’t be toys even if they are false.
I am disturbed by this sad story. In the United States of America buying weapons is as easy as purchasing an apple. In my opinion, it is not normal that it is the legal to carry a gun, this object is made to hurt or kill someone. I do not agree with this system.
