RTÉ radio 1 - People whro dread Christmas

I downloaded podcasts of the topics which interested me the most from RTÉ radio 1. It is a manner to enhance my English listening. Sometimes i am unable to understand all the sentences but in most cases i get the meaning.
I have chosen to speak about people who dread Christmas. We are going to celebrate this in three weeks. For most of people this is part of the best party of the year : eating good food, being with our family, receiving gifts from people close to us. The apartments are decorated for this occasion, there is a magic atmosphere.
Nevertheless, not everyone like this event. In this radio programme, professor Jim Lucey medical director of St Patrick University Hospital explains that Christmas it is not a peaceful day for anybody.
Firstly he defines who don’t like it : the unemployed, poor people, homeless people and the single persons. Secondly he indicates that Christmas dinners lead often serious discussions about for example, the school performance, the love life, the money problems, diverse matters that can create unnecessary tensions. Some people can become violent because of the excessive alcohol consumption. That is something we do not often think about. Personally I love Christmas, for me it is a magic day. However, i think we must help poor people by giving money or just discuss with them to embellish this special day.
